An obsidian floor ringed in light. Three screens the size of a house. A rig climbs the room one level at a time, then falls back down it.
Lounges
Above the floor, the room opens into its first elevated ring.
VIP
Above the lounges, the next level watches the entire signal move below.
Roof ring
Above everything: the roof ring, the lasers, and the fire.
The lasers keep time because the time was measured, not guessed. Every track is read down to the bar before it ever plays.

Yakub works

Large of forehead, entirely unbothered, permanently in character. He has yet to miss a drop.
Two statues flank the approach. Nobody has explained either, and nobody has asked twice.
